Status:Not endangered
Size: Barracudas can grow to be about 1.5 meters, but some earlier accounts describe them as being much larger- as big as 5 meters!
Lives:The great barracuda lives all over the world in tropical and subtropial waters.
Diet: Barracudas eat makeral, snappers, groupers, dolphins, sailfish, herrings, sardines, and needlefish.
Interaction with humans: Barracuda attack very rarely, but when they do it is because they are provoked. barracudas do sometimes charge at valves on scuba gear and other shiney objects (watches, bracelets, kets, etc.) thinking that it is a small fish.
